A Flow of Ease
New Earth Beckons (7)
The ways in which ease can be experienced are limitless.
A flow of ease is not exclusive to times of relaxation.
Often, when one makes a heart-felt choice a pathway opens as though effortlessly.
There can be ease in collaboration when the talents and the attention-to-intention of the collaborators are well matched.
Frequently it is we, ourselves, who contribute to the flow of ease we experience.
When all the pieces for a well-planned project have been carefully gathered, we have created opportunity for a flow of ease in the completion of the project.
Perhaps a flow of ease is most apparent when we step outside of a sense of time, as with schedules to keep, and are simply enjoying.
I well remember the Summer morning when, at daybreak, I began canoeing along the shoreline of a pristine lake as the light mist above the water gradually disappeared in the early sunlight. Paddling in the calm waters, each stroke of the paddle provided ample gliding. Eventually, approaching a loon nesting area — a complete surprise! — I quickly diverted my course. After five hours, clockwise around the lake, my early morning excursion was completed. This experience now revisits as a superb feeling of flow-of-ease.
Ease is also present when sailing in a fair breeze, with the wind direction ideal for one’s chosen course. This feeling of flow-of-ease returns readily, for I have experienced it many times.
Ease is a part of the New Earth way-of-being. When one attunes to the feeling of a beneficial flow of ease by remembering — from personal experience — a feeling of ease, this feeling of ease is then amplified.
Ease is not selfish, self-centered or competitive. Rather, it is a gateway into greater enjoyment and the sharing, by example, of the grace-filled possibilities inherent within the flow of ease.
