The Goddess and the Rainbow Bridge:

An Allegory Bridging the Worlds

An Allegory Bridging the Worlds

The Goddess and the Rainbow Bridge is a playful allegory.

When the title for this narrative arrived with me as inspiration in June of 2000, it was a complete surprise.  The rainbow bridge was new to me.  Nor did I have an affinity for any specific archetypal goddess.  So what was I to write?  I had no idea.  I also knew that I was to record the completed narrative.  Where?  I had no idea how this would come about.

Before the end of June, a connection was made which resulted in my wintering in Sedona beginning in December.  There I was invited — through an entirely different connection, suggested by a friend in New England — to enjoy quiet time, by myself, in a gazebo adjacent a rose garden.  This was available to me consistently.

In April of 2001, before the narrative for The Goddess and the Rainbow Bridge was written, yet another connection was made.  This provided the opportunity to record the completed narrative.

In Golden Pebbles: Celebrating the New Earth, I shared many more details about this magically evolving allegory project — including the arrival of Goddess Crystal.

Sometimes possibility — or insightfulness — can be best expressed through allegory which invites us to look at our world from a new perspective.

During several consecutive mornings at the gazebo in April, where I focused on The Goddess and the Rainbow Bridge, the entire narrative was written.  Each day, as the narrative unfolded "in front of me", I entered it.  Fascinated, I noted my experience on a small recorder.

The narrative was completed and transcribed, with intense focus and relative ease, in time for the previously scheduled recording appointment.

What follows is from Golden Pebbles — narration and text:

It had been little more than forty-eight hours since the narrative for The Goddess and the Rainbow Bridge had been completed when I arrived at Lee's studio at 7:00 PM on Monday to record it.  I had no idea how my recording collaborators would receive this playful yet profound journey which had been inspired from another dimension. Initially narrating with a background of drumming, I soon noticed Lee grinning and nodding from behind his console.

When we finished recording that first track, Lee suggested we take a short break.  "I want to show you something," he said.  In an adjacent room he removed a book from a shelf and held it up so I could clearly see its title, The Rainbow Bridge.

The look on my face must have indicated that I was startled.  Before I could reply Lee said, "The material in that book is from the Ascended Masters.  I've been aligned with them for years.”  Although the recording had been going well, this information and "coincidence" was well beyond anything I might have imagined possible

From the time that The Goddess and the Rainbow Bridge was first inspired, everything about my participation with it has been a unique experience — often magical.

It is clear that the time has arrived to re-introduce The Goddess and the Rainbow Bridge, beginning with the inclusion of several samples from the recording on the pages which follow this one.  On each page, the written narrative for the sample is included.

There is much more energy with the recorded segments, however.  The three talented musician friends who entered the spirit of the narrative, with me, did so unrehearsed — and without having heard any portion of the narrative before participating in the recording session.  Remarkably, there was no re-recording of any portion of any track. Those moments in time — about 6 hours altogether — when everyone clearly aligned with the energy behind the project, continue to echo delightfully.
